June 2, 14.40, Traffic accident, Västerås

Alarm was received about a traffic accident at the intersection between Björnövägen and Viksängsgatan on Öster mälarstrand. The police rushed to the scene where a driver had driven into a refuge, alternatively a pole.

The driver was taken to hospital after the accident with unclear injury status.

There is initially no suspicion of a crime in connection with the event.
