On the scene a man is found, injured with a bludgeon. The man is taken to hospital. Awake and able to speak, otherwise unknown extent of injury. The police have initiated an investigation into attempted murder and are conducting initial investigative measures, including technical examination, interrogation and other information gathering. Work is underway to identify and locate the perpetrator.
