On Parkvägen, near Uggelbo, a passerby encounters a cat lying by the roadside.

The cat, which was still alive, was found to have a collar around its neck and a suspected broken toe.

A police patrol was dispatched to the scene. The cat was taken to the police station, where they searched for a possible microchip. Since no owner could be found, the police have contacted the County Administrative Board, which will ensure the cat is taken to a veterinarian.

The police are filing a report on animal abuse, with, at present, an unknown suspect.
