Driving a car with alcohol or drugs in the body is one of the most common causes of serious accidents in traffic. Between June 8 and 14, the police therefore conduct extra sobriety checks.

Here follow the results from some of the morning traffic checks in the region:

On Highway 87 at Rannåsen, Östersunds municipality, seven flying inspections of heavy vehicles were carried out. At the check, three fines were issued due to errors regarding lighting.

On E14 at Krokom, two flying inspections and one check of hazardous goods were carried out. There are no remarks noted.
