Driving a car with alcohol or drugs in the body is one of the most common causes of serious accidents in traffic. Between June 8 and 14, the police therefore conduct extra sobriety checks.

Here follow the results from some of the morning traffic checks in Västerbotten:

No remarks are noted at the sobriety checks conducted in Kåge, Skellefteå municipality.

In Ersmark, Skellefteå municipality, a sobriety and speed check was conducted. All checked were without remarks.

On county road 860 at Vitberget, Skellefteå, six speeding offenses were reported. There were four inspections and 40-50 sobriety checks conducted. All drivers were sober.

All who passed the sobriety check in Bureå, Skellefteå municipality, were without remarks.

At Sunnanå in Skellefteå, a fine for disorderly conduct was issued to a driver who drove an uninspected vehicle.
