Police have during the morning obtained a decision on coercive measures against a 60-year-old man on suspicion of grossly illegal threats and assault. The plaintiff is a woman he previously had a relationship with. 

The perpetrator was after contact with the prosecutor detained in his absence. A decision on a personal house search was also made by the prosecutor. 

The man is suspected of having threatened the plaintiff with a criminal offense that has caused fear for his own safety for life and health. The man has also assaulted the plaintiff by blows, bruises and pain have arisen in connection with this.

The man could be arrested by the police in the morning after the house search was carried out. 

The direction and guidelines of the investigation will be decided by the prosecutor. Initial actions that will be carried out are an interrogation of the suspected person. Further, the injuries to the plaintiff will be documented and more in-depth interrogations will be carried out.
