The police receive several calls regarding an aggressive man who is going to attack both people, buildings and vehicles at Bergslagsvägen in Skinnskatteberg.

During the calls, the man is seen running on foot. Further calls are received about further vandalism and broken windows.

Just before midnight, a police patrol sees the man who then jumps into the water and starts swimming. After a swim of nearly an hour, and with the help of divers from the rescue service, the man can be caught.

The man is checked by ambulance personnel, but does not need any hospital care. Due to strong intoxication, he is taken into custody according to the LOB, the law on the care of intoxicated persons.

Two reports of vandalism are drawn up. It is currently unclear if there are any further complainants regarding vandalism.
