Several police patrols are ordered to an address in Gävle during the night due to a suspected assault.

On the scene, the man is said to have assaulted a woman he is in a relationship with. There are also said to be children present who witnessed the assault.

The man is apprehended on the scene and is now detained suspected of assault and child welfare offense.
