The police have during an operation apprehended a man who is suspected of aggravated assault in the southern part of Nynäshamn's urban area.

The apprehended is suspected to have injured another person but with a weapon that is estimated to be a knife. The plaintiff has been taken to hospital for care with an injury that is not estimated to be life-threatening.

The suspect is in his mid-20s and the suspicion of a crime is gross assault.
