July 30 08.09, Summary of the night, Jämtland County

Here follow a selection of the night's events:

00.43 Assault, Östersund:
Police are dispatched to the north where a man is alleged to have been violent towards two women. He is also suspected of selling alcohol illegally to the women, who are under 20 years of age.

The man is found and checked. A report is filed regarding assault and illegal sale of alcohol. There are no reports that either of the women needed to be taken to hospital care.

Other:
Two people have been taken into custody according to the LOB, the law on the taking into custody of intoxicated persons. One of these is suspected of minor narcotics offenses (use).

Police have also conducted checks on people and vehicles that did not result in any suspicion of a crime.
