The police have handled a hundred cases in Östergötland County between 22:00 and 07:00. During the night, the police have conducted a number of checks on people and vehicles without any suspicions of more serious crimes and handled a dozen cases of drunkenness where people have been apprehended in accordance with the LOB. 

22:30 Hazardous item - Linköping

The police are investigating a cellar storage room in Skäggetorp and find a suspected hazardous item. The national bomb squad is called in and takes care of the item. The item was not placed to cause damage but was stored in the cellar storage room so no direct danger to residents or others has existed. In connection with this, a man in his 20s is arrested suspected of preparation for public destruction and a crime against the law on flammable and explosive items. The man is being held in custody.
