The police's regional command center has handled around 100 cases related to Östergötland County between 22.00-07.00. Approximately 30 cases involve alarms about intoxicated people who cannot take care of themselves, or people who have been taken into custody according to the Law on Guardianship.
At 23.30, the police are alerted to a suspected assault in an apartment in Valdemarsvik. When the police arrive at the scene, a 40-year-old man is found in the apartment, and he is arrested for assault. The complainant is a 45-year-old woman who had left the residence when the patrol arrived at the scene. The woman is not seriously injured.
At 02.30, the police are alerted to an apartment in Motala city center because a woman refuses to leave a man's apartment. The woman and the man have or have had some sort of relationship with each other. The police arrive at the scene and inform the woman that she must leave the apartment. The 40-year-old woman is now suspected of harassment.
At 05.04, the police are alerted to Old Town in Norrköping due to a suspected break-in at an electronics store. At the scene, a broken window is visible, but no person is present. The police have checked several people in connection with the incident but have not found a suspected perpetrator. A report of theft through break-in has been drawn up. It is currently unclear exactly what was taken.
