Under New Year's Eve, the police in the region received many calls about people who could not handle themselves when they shot fireworks during New Year's Eve. Here is a selection:

00:01: At Löten in Uppsala, according to callers, young people shot rockets at each other. The young people left the scene before any patrol arrived.

00:03: In Knivsta, someone according to callers shot larger rockets at people and facades from a window of a hotel. The police conducted a search of a dwelling but have not yet found a suspected perpetrator. A report of attempted gross assault was made.

00:17: At Polacksbacken in Uppsala, a teenage boy is hit on the ear by a rocket. He bleeds and is taken by a police patrol to hospital. No crime report at this time.
