The police receive calls that a man has hit a woman in a residence.

The police have been on the scene and they have arrested a 60-year-old man suspected of assault and unlawful threats against a 40-year-old woman.

The crimes have occurred indoors.

The police will hold an interrogation with the man and thereafter a prosecutor will make a decision on whether he should remain in detention or not.

The woman has not sought emergency medical care.
