The police are looking for a man in his 70s who has gone missing.

At 21:15 on Monday evening, the police received a call from a relative that a man in his 70s was missing. He was last seen at Mälarsjukhuset in Eskilstuna at 14:40 on the previous day. The man is 177 centimeters tall and has a medical condition that makes him appear disoriented. He has a haircut and is believed to be wearing dark jeans, a white shirt, a black down jacket, and black shoes.

The police have since the disappearance worked with information gathering, searches near the hospital and other places where he may have been. Checks with the healthcare system and public transportation have not yet yielded any results, nor has mobile positioning. The man is a resident of Strängnäs and the area of Dammen. It is possible that the man has moved in that direction as well.

The police are very concerned about getting help from the public with tips and observations. Anyone who thinks they see the man now is asked to immediately call the police on 112, then request the regional command center Öst.

The police suspect no crime in connection with the disappearance.
