Elderly man loses thousands of kronor after home visit by con artists.

An 90-year-old man living in central Gothenburg reports to the police and says he has been exposed to a crime. It was on Monday evening that a person called and claimed to represent one of Sweden's major banks. This led to a home visit by a man who said that he needed to take the older man's bank card and that he would receive a new one at a later time. In connection with this, the scammer also took the card's code. After this, just over 10,000 kronor was withdrawn from the man's account. The police have been on site at the man's home and heard him, and a report has been made regarding the scam.
