Five people have been taken into custody for intoxication, two of whom are suspected of being under the influence of narcotics. The police have also carried out several checks on people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of a crime.

Here follows a selection of the night's events:

01:10 Assault, Åre
A 35-year-old man is apprehended at an address outside Åre. He is suspected of assaulting another man at the address. According to reports, they are acquainted with each other. The assaulted is checked by ambulance personnel on the scene.

03:42 Burglary, Östersund
Reports come in that a school in Östersund has been subjected to a break-in. The police search the area, but no suspect is found. It is initially unclear if anything has been stolen. A report is filed.

A wild animal accident in Berg Municipality has been reported to the police during the night. There are no reports of personal injuries.
