The police are on the scene due to a boy, in the younger teenage years, having thrown something at another boy at school.

The exposed boy was taken to hospital by police patrol, with injuries to the face.

The police will speak with the involved and potential witnesses.

They will also inform social services and parents as the suspect is under 15 years old.

The exposed boy was driven to hospital in an ambulance. He was conscious and could walk to the ambulance himself.
