Police alarms are sent to the location after smoke is discovered in the stairwell outside the residents' doors. It is an unknown person who is suspected of having set fire to some kind of object that has started to burn. The patrol cordons off the area and knocks on doors to gather any potential witness statements and checks nearby cameras. A technical investigation has been conducted on the scene. The cordon could be lifted in the morning.

No person is believed to have been physically injured and at present, no one has been arrested. The classification of the crime is attempted arson.
