A man in his 20s is suspected of minor assault, harassment and aggravated assault, by threatening two people with a tool. No person should have come to physical harm. The incident occurred on or near a gas station.

01:53, Varberg, assault
Private individuals witnessed a fight between two people in central Varberg. One of the people, a 25-year-old man, could be arrested for assault, and got a injured arm as a result of the incident. The other person, who is 60 years old, is said to have been hit in the face and head. 

Violence in close relationship
A man in Halland County is suspected of assault against a woman he is in a relationship with. Neighbors heard screams from a neighboring apartment, whereupon the police were contacted. No serious personal injuries have been reported.
