Alarm is received via the Coast and Air Rescue Centre about a motorboat without an owner near the land just north of Ljungskile.
Since it cannot be ruled out that someone has fallen into the water, the Swedish Sea Rescue Society initiates a rescue operation. No person is found in the water. When it later becomes known that a group was seen walking away from the location where the boat was found, the rescue operation is discontinued. The police are now on the scene to investigate who owns the boat and how it ended up there.
