The police have handled a hundred and fifty events in Östergötland county between 10 PM and 7 AM. No serious violent crimes or serious events have come to the police's knowledge. Seven wild animal accidents (elk, deer, wild boar) have occurred but without any personal injuries.

A minor boy disrupted the police's UAS (drone) with a green laser but the UAS could easily find him and follow him until police on the ground could get hold of him. Disrupting the police's UAS can result in serious consequences where both crimes against the radiation protection law and sabotage against blue light operations can be relevant under certain circumstances.

In this case, the boy was a minor but the laser pointer was found and could be confiscated. Contact was also made with the boy's guardians.

We have together with our cooperation partners had high visibility in the urban environment which we know has a crime-preventing effect. In addition, we have monitored Augustifesten both from the ground, from the air, and from our cameras. Despite the fact that thousands of people have moved around in the center, very few crimes have had to be handled.
