Here follow a selection of the night's events:

22.16 Wildlife accident, Östersund:
Police receive a report of an accident involving a van and an elk on E14, Svedje. No personal injuries are reported. It is unclear how the elk fared and a tracker is called out.

23.57 Unlawful driving, Åre:
Police patrol stops an A-tractor on E14 which is suspected of being driven at a higher speed than allowed for the vehicle type. The A-tractor is seized for technical examination. A report is made regarding unlawful driving and as the driver is under eighteen, guardians are contacted.

Police have also carried out checks on people and vehicles which have not resulted in any suspicion of a crime.
