In connection with a police patrol was supposed to stop a car at the bus station in Västerås the driver drove away from the police. In connection with this the driver was close to driving into the police officers. The driver, a man in his 20s, then drove against E18 and off the road.

The man was apprehended and taken to hospital for examination. He was arrested after contact with the prosecutor suspected of gross negligence in traffic, gross traffic inebriation, unauthorized driving or alternatively gross unauthorized driving and attempted gross assault.
