Under the afternoon, at 14:16, the police received an alarm about an avalanche north of Hällfjället, Åre.

The police's on-duty commander makes a decision to initiate rescue services in accordance with the Act on Protection against Accidents (LSO) to ensure that no person has been affected.

The resources can, however, be recalled shortly thereafter. A search has been conducted on the scene and no person is believed to have been swept away by the avalanche. It is unclear when it occurred. The operation is concluded.
