A man called the police after receiving an SMS saying he had made a purchase from an electronics store, which he had not made. In the message, it stated that the purchase could be stopped if he called a number that was specified. The caller never clicked on the link.

The police were ordered to the victim and a report will be filed regarding an attempted fraud.
