The police have handled a 40-something incidents in Jönköping county between 22:00 and 07:00. No serious violent crimes or serious incidents have come to the police's knowledge.

The traffic situation during the night has been good, no traffic accidents have occurred that have become a police concern, and four reported wild animal accidents (elk) without personal injury.

23:26 Drunken driving - Vetlanda

Staff at a gas station alert the police that a customer had been inside intoxicated and then sat down to sleep in his car. When staff try to take the car keys from him, he leaves the scene in the vehicle. The police go to the owner's home address where the vehicle is parked. The driver, a man in his 20s, is found and arrested in the apartment suspected of drunken driving. He is to follow for a blood test.
