The police are conducting an ongoing operation to locate the perpetrator(s) and secure the crime scene. In the work, helicopters are participating, as well as several patrols that are checking people in the surrounding area.

The national bomb squad has been called to the scene to find out more about what exploded and a technical investigation will also be conducted at the crime scene. Interviews with neighbors and witnesses are also being conducted.

A preliminary investigation has been initiated regarding gross public destruction and a crime against the law on flammable and explosive goods.
