01:22 The police were alerted to Eskilstuna city center and Fristadstorget due to a man reportedly arguing with a woman outdoors. She is said to have screamed and appeared frightened. When the police arrived at the scene, they made contact with both the man and the woman. They are acquaintances with each other. The 25-year-old man was apprehended suspected of assault and narcotics possession. The complainant, a 30-year-old woman, was not in need of ambulance care.

03:42 SOS alarm about a fire in a villa in Runtuna, Nyköping. According to the alarm, there was a lot of smoke coming from the basement. The police have been on the scene and it appears that there were no flames, only smoke. A wood stove is believed to have caused the smoke. The police will file a report about the fire without suspicion of a crime. There are no reported personal injuries.

Aside from this, the police have had cases involving wildlife accidents, traffic offenses, crime prevention work, traffic controls, and various other controls on their own initiative or after an alarm from the public that did not lead to anything serious.
