At 3:30 AM, the police are alerted to a suspected theft in an unmanned store in Katrineholm's urban area. A person has been seen entering the store and taking items out without paying. The police find the person near the scene. The person, a man in his 30s, is suspected of petty theft.

At 6 AM, a car is stopped and checked on Västeråsvägen in Eskilstuna. The driver, a man in his 60s, has driven despite his driver's license having been revoked earlier, and he is therefore suspected of gross unlawful driving.
