The police regional command center has handled a number of 30 cases between 22.00-07.00 that concern Södermanland County.

03:06 The police were alerted to a property in Nyfors, Eskilstuna, due to a resident hearing loud banging and a cry for help. When the police arrived at the scene, it turned out that two people were stuck in an elevator and therefore cried for help. The police got in touch with an elevator operator and in this way the affected people could get out. The elevator has also been closed after this incident, for repair. There is no suspicion of a crime.

In addition, the police have had cases of traffic offenses, crime prevention work, drunkenness and various checks on their own initiative or after a call from the public that have not led to anything serious.

No more serious violent crimes have come to the police's knowledge.
