A person has been taken into custody for drunkenness. The police have also carried out a number of checks on people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of a crime.

22:00 Wildlife accident, Åre
A car and a deer were involved in an accident on E14 in Strand. There are no reports of personal injuries. The deer is said to be dead. Stalkers are contacted to check the animal.

01:50 Drunk driving, Berg
Police check a car that is lying in a ditch on county road 315 in the area of Storhågna. The driver is suspected of gross drunk driving and unauthorized driving. Blood sampling is performed and a report is to be drawn up.

01:56 Vandalism, Östersund
Alarm about a fire in a vehicle outdoors in Torvalla is received. It is said to be two cars on a parking lot that are burning. Police assist the rescue service initially. The site is blocked off and the area is searched by police dog and witness statements are held. The case is being investigated as vandalism by fire.
