Police were alerted about two objects at Nils Ericsonsterminalen and the assessment was made that a larger area should be cordoned off in order for the objects to be assessed in a safe manner. The national bomb protection unit has been on site and made the assessment that the objects were sharp. The assessment was also made that the objects could be removed in order to be handled at another location. The cordoning off could begin to be lifted around 22:45.

The case is classified as a serious offense against the law on flammable and explosive goods. At present, the police will not provide any further details about the case as we assess that it could complicate further investigative measures.
