An elderly woman was called by a person who said that her credit card had been skimmed and that people were coming to help her.
Several people then visited the woman's residence and informed her that the police would shortly visit her to collect certain belongings. After a short time, other people who claimed to be civilian police officers arrived and collected the items.
When the elderly woman began to suspect that she had been deceived, she called the police headquarters and a police operation was initiated.
Several police patrols worked on the case and after a series of investigative measures, six young men were apprehended while sitting on the cross-town line at Liljeholmen.
All six are now detained and suspected of fraud.
