Police and ambulance are alerted to an address in Helsingborg due to a 15-year-old girl reportedly being assaulted by a girl of the same age.

According to initial reports, some form of sharp object was used, the incident is said to have occurred outdoors and the girls are not unknown to each other.

The victim is taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment.

The suspected girl is apprehended at another address. She is now detained.

The incident is classified as aggravated assault.
