Alarm about a serious traffic accident arrives, a motorcycle and a passenger car that collided on Malmbergsvägen in Gällivare. 

Police patrol that is on the scene when the traffic accident occurs and has witnessed parts of the accident, the patrol alerts and quickly moves forward and begins life-saving measures on the motorcycle driver, an ambulance arrives at the scene and takes the motorcycle driver away. 

A man in his 20s who was driving the motorcycle dies from his injuries, relatives are informed. 

The traffic accident is being investigated and the initial criminal classification is now causing death to another person and carelessness in traffic, no person is given suspicion. 

No one else was physically injured in connection with the traffic accident.
