A man in his 50s needs help to get out of the apartment, and is then taken to hospital for examination as he has inhaled smoke. The fire started in the apartment and will be investigated as gross negligence.

At 01:45, police are alerted to a pub in central Eskilstuna where a bouncer interrupted a fight between two men. A man in his 60s is suspected of assault, and is taken into custody under LOB as he is very intoxicated. The injured man is in his 50s and is said to have started bleeding but has no serious injuries.
