The regional police headquarters has handled around 70 cases related to Östergötland county between 22.00-07.00.

At 23.40, an emergency call is made about a traffic accident that occurred on Flemingsgatan in Norrköping. Two passenger cars are said to have collided at low speed, the cars are not traffic hazardous and no one has been injured. After the collision, a person has however delivered a blow to the other party. One of the drivers, a man in his 20s, is fined for causing the accident. A passenger in the offending car, a man in his 30s, is suspected of assault on the driver of the other car. The driver of the other car is a man in his 30s and has not been seriously injured.

At 00.45, police are called to a pub in central Linköping where security guards need help to apprehend a drunk man. The man is aggressive towards security guards and police, and is suspected of violent resistance and minor narcotics offense through personal use. He is 18 years old and is apprehended according to the Law on Public Order and Security (LOB).

At 03.00, police are called to Drottninggatan in Norrköping due to an assault. According to reports, two men confronted two other men, and delivered blows and taken a chokehold on them. The conflict is said to have started verbally inside a pub and the blows were delivered outside. The affected men are in their 25s. Police have checked people in the area and filed a report on assault of normal severity. At present, no one is suspected.
