09 August 07.35, Summary of the night, Norrbotten County

Here follow a selection of the night's events:

01.38 Wildlife Accident, Överkalix:
Police receive a report of an accident involving a reindeer and a passenger car on E10, Tvärån. No personal injuries are reported. It is unclear what happened to the reindeer. The affected indigenous community is notified of the accident.

01.39 Driving Under the Influence of Narcotics, Piteå:
At a stop and control of a passenger car on county road 508, Berget, the driver is suspected of being under the influence of narcotics and is to follow for blood testing. A report is filed regarding driving under the influence of narcotics and minor narcotics offense (use). A passenger in the car is also suspected of minor narcotics offense (use) and is to follow for blood testing.

02.14 Assault, Kiruna:
Police are ordered to an address in central Kiruna due to some kind of brawl/fight involving several people. The patrol takes a report regarding assault and unlawful threats. No one is detained in the matter. There are no reports of anyone needing to be taken to medical care.

02.20 Traffic Control, Luleå:
All those checked at a traffic control on Skeppsbrogatan, Innerstaden, are without remark.

Other:
Three people have been taken into custody for drunkenness.

Police have also carried out checks of people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of a crime.
