About the job
Lead the engineers who make vehicles work
Every switch you press and every wire behind the panel has to work, every time. As Team Lead, you will guide a small team of E/E engineers who deliver wiring, switch and in-vehicle electrical system solutions to automotive customers. You stay close to the technical work while you own delivery, quality and the growth of your team. You will collaborate across electrical architecture, body electronics, and interior and HMI teams, and with customers and suppliers.
What you will do
- Lead a team of 3–6 engineers on E/E development and integration assignments for customer vehicle programs.
- Define and review wiring strategies, grounding and fuse concepts, and component layout against safety and manufacturability requirements.
- Drive the development and validation of electrical switches, driver controls and wiring harnesses, including supplier follow-up.
- Own technical troubleshooting of hardware, software and wiring anomalies, from vehicle test to root cause.
- Support system verification: requirements management, diagnostics (UDS, ISO 14229) and automated test routines.
- Apply structured problem solving and statistics (Six Sigma) to quality, warranty and failure-mode topics.
- Be the technical and delivery contact for customers, and plan staffing, competence growth and delivery quality.
What you bring
- MSc or BSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or equivalent.
- 8+ years in automotive E/E product development, including wiring, switches, instrument clusters or climate controls.
- Experience leading engineers or work packages, formally or technically.
- Strong supplier and cross-functional collaboration, including commercial and cost-reduction topics.
- Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and CAN/UDS.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
Meriting, but not required
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (Master Black Belt is a plus).
- Python and SQL for data analysis and test automation.
- Experience in failure-mode analysis, maintainability or warranty improvement.
- Project management training (MBA, PMP or similar).
- Experience with OEMs such as Volvo or Ford, or with Tier-1 suppliers.
- Swedish language skills.
