IT/OT Technician for Industrial Systems

We are looking for a new colleague who wants to work with industrial networks, connected systems and cloud solutions. At Processkontroll GT, you will combine IT/OT work and technical support for our customers’ equipment with PLC programming in our projects.
You may have most of your experience in IT/OT or PLC programming. We are looking for someone with a solid technical foundation, who takes responsibility for their work and wants to continue developing with us.
About the role
The role focuses mainly on OT and cloud solutions, with PLC programming as part of the project work. You will work with colleagues in programming and IT/OT, and work on both existing solutions and the development of new ones.
The duties include:
- Industrial networks, communication between systems and secure remote access.
- Data collection, connection to cloud services and development of connected solutions.
- Technical support and servicing of customers’ equipment.
- PLC programming in our projects.
- Identifying improvements and contributing suggestions for new technical solutions.
Customer contact takes place mainly in connection with support and service. When there is capacity, you may also support other programmers with, for example, functional descriptions and commissioning checks.
Who we are looking for
You have practical experience of IT/OT and a clear interest in the field. Your background may be in IT/OT, with a desire to develop your PLC programming skills, or in PLC programming, with an interest in connected systems. There will be opportunities to build on your skills and grow into more aspects of the role.

For this role, you need to:
- Have experience of and an interest in IT/OT.
- Be able to communicate in Swedish and English.
Experience of Siemens TIA Portal is a strong advantage. A driving licence is desirable.
