About the job

Do you enjoy working with numbers, understanding logical relationships and making complex flows work? Join us to plan production and ensure the right materials are in the right place at the right time.

We are looking for a Production and Materials Planner for our factory in Nässjö. You will play a central role in coordinating production requirements, materials and internal warehouse flows.

About the role

You will translate forecasts, customer orders and stock requirements into a feasible production plan. You will plan production volumes and sequencing and ensure the availability of raw materials and packaging.

When circumstances change, you will assess the impact, identify alternatives and coordinate adjustments with the colleagues involved.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Plan manufacturing and packaging.
  • Calculate material requirements, call off raw materials and monitor the availability of production inputs.
  • Coordinate internal warehouse flows and material movements between storage, freezer facilities and production.
  • Adapt the plan to capacity, stock levels, shelf life and available freezer space.
  • Identify and address risks of material shortages, excess stock and capacity conflicts.
  • Monitor results and improve planning data and procedures.

You will work closely with production, operations and engineering, purchasing (incl. suppliers) and quality. The role reports to the Site Manager and has no line management responsibilities.

Who you are

You have strong numerical skills and an aptitude for mathematical and logical reasoning. You recognise patterns, understand relationships and can bring information together to create a workable plan.

You are organised, curious and take responsibility for completing tasks. You enjoy solving problems and can rethink your approach when circumstances change.

Collaboration is an important part of the role. You seek information from colleagues in production, draw on their experience and communicate plans and changes clearly.

Your background

You may have experience in production planning, logistics or materials management. You could also come from programming, data analysis, engineering or another field involving numbers and complex relationships.

We place great emphasis on your ability to learn how our business works. You have strong computer skills, are comfortable using Excel and can learn new systems. Experience with ERP systems, data analysis or programming is an advantage.

What we offer

A specialist role with responsibility for your own work, close to day-to-day production. You will see tangible results from your work and help shape the development of our production and materials planning.
