Hykmann Global Business Solutions AB is looking for a committed Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for a technical consultancy assignment focused on reliable systems, platform development and smart automation.

🔧 About the assignment
As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will work at the intersection of development, operations and security. You will contribute to high availability, improved system performance and more efficient delivery through automation, observability and proactive problem-solving.

🎯 Main responsibilities
Ensure high availability and stability through monitoring, observability and proactive troubleshooting.
Automate infrastructure, configurations and deployments using modern tools and methods.
Work with incident management, root cause analysis and preventive measures.
Contribute to capacity planning, performance optimisation and continuous improvement.
Work closely with development and platform teams to create robust and reliable solutions.
Develop scripts and automation solutions to make operations and delivery more efficient.
Contribute to security-integrated development and operations processes in accordance with DevSecOps principles.
Improve monitoring, alert management and visibility into system health and performance.
Evaluate and further develop platform solutions, focusing on scalability, security and long-term maintainability.

✅ Essential qualifications
We are looking for someone with:
Around 3 years or more of experience in platform engineering, cloud, DevOps or related technical fields.
A strong interest in system reliability, availability and performance.
Experience with cloud and platform technologies, including virtualisation, containerisation and orchestration.
Experience with automation and scripting, for example using Python, Bash, Terraform or Ansible.
Experience with monitoring and alert management tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or equivalent.
A strong ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems.
An independent, analytical and solution-oriented approach to work.
The ability to collaborate effectively with developers, platform teams and other technical stakeholders.

⭐ Desirable experience
It is particularly advantageous if you have:
Practical experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
Experience with private cloud environments.
A good understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps principles.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automated deployments.
Experience with observability, incident management and continuous improvement of production environments.
Experience building secure, scalable and resilient platforms.
