Hykmann Global Business Solutions AB is looking for an experienced systems developer at competence level 3 for a long-term consultancy assignment with a government agency in the Swedish public sector.

🔧 About the assignment
You will be part of an agile development team working on systems development in close collaboration with the business. The work covers the entire development process, from implementation and testing to further development and quality assurance of existing applications.
The team works at a fast pace, focusing on delivering solutions that create real value for the organisation and citizens. You will have the opportunity to share your expertise, contribute to technical improvements and develop together with a committed team.
Some applications are business-critical, which may occasionally involve working outside normal office hours. Ongoing knowledge transfer and collaboration are also important parts of the assignment.
🎯 Main duties
Develop and further develop backend services using Java and Spring.
Develop and maintain frontend solutions using Angular.
Work with automated testing to ensure code quality and system stability.
Take part in the entire development process, from analysis and implementation to testing and delivery.
Work closely with the business to understand requirements and turn them into effective technical solutions.
Work with systems that use relational databases.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of code, testing processes and development methods.
Share knowledge and contribute to the team’s collective professional development.
When needed, contribute to the development and maintenance of other related applications.

✅ Mandatory requirements
To be considered for the assignment, you must meet all the following requirements:
Competence level 3, corresponding to approximately 4–8 years of experience.
Documented experience in backend development using Java and the Spring framework.
Documented experience in frontend development using Angular.
Documented experience in automated testing.
A general understanding of relational databases.
Ability to work at the office in Gävle at least one day per week after the initial start-up period.
Swedish citizenship.
Willingness to undergo a security assessment in accordance with security protection level 2.

⭐ Desirable experience
The following would be particularly advantageous:
Experience in automated interface testing using Selenium.
Experience of case management support within property registration or related areas of activity.
Experience developing and maintaining business-critical systems.
Experience with agile development methods and close collaboration with business representatives.

🔄 Extension option: Up to 3 years
🏠 Working arrangements: Initially on site in Gävle. Thereafter, remote working may be possible when the duties allow and subject to agreement with the team. At least one day per week in the office is required.
🇸🇪 Citizenship: Swedish citizenship is mandatory.
🔐 Security requirements
The assignment is security-classified at level 2. A security protection agreement (SUA) at level 2 must be signed by the supplier, and the consultant must undergo and pass the security assessment before the assignment can begin.
