DEVELOPMENT MANAGER FOR RESTAURANT EXPERIENCES
Somewhere out there, you are waiting. Perhaps you have experience at some of Sweden’s leading hotels and restaurants. Perhaps you have worked internationally in hospitality or been part of businesses where service, quality and attention to detail are the highest priorities.
Now you want to take the next step and may be looking for a new workplace.
Ästad Vingård is growing and is now looking for people who want to take the next step in their hotel and restaurant careers. A few years ago, we took over the operation of Varbergs Kusthotell. For some time now, we have also been running the bakery Dan Bakstudio.
There will be more businesses in the future, but growth is not a goal in itself. Instead, the goal is to create the best possible guest experiences in a relaxed Nordic setting.
We are therefore looking for you, with solid experience in day-to-day operations, in-depth knowledge of your area and a desire to use your expertise to develop people, ways of working and guest experiences across several businesses.

We are looking for development managers in:
Restaurant
Housekeeping
Hotel & Guest Relations

The roles are group-wide and involve working across all our businesses. Your remit is to develop how we work in your area and help the businesses take the next step.
You will work closely with the local teams and site managers, but above all with the day-to-day operations. We are not looking for people who want to develop businesses from behind a desk. You must want to be on site, see what works, understand what could be better and put that into practice together with the teams.

YOUR NEXT STEP
Perhaps you have worked for a long time as a restaurant manager, head waiter, hotel manager, housekeeping manager or in another leadership role in hotels and restaurants. You know the industry, still enjoy the operational side and know what it takes to create truly great guest experiences.
At the same time, you are ready for something bigger.
You need to be confident in your experience, modest in your approach and good at bringing people with you. The role is not about coming in and telling others how to do things, but about developing together with the people who work in the business every day.
As a development manager, you will move between our different businesses. At times, this will involve travelling and staying away for several days at a time, so travel is a natural and necessary part of the job.
You will also be involved when we open new businesses and contribute your experience from planning and set-up through to ensuring that ways of working and teams are in place when the doors open.
This is a role for someone who has achieved a lot in their area, but is still curious about how things can be done even better.
