AI Adoption Specialist, training and coaching for development teams
About the assignment
Our client, a large company, wants to increase the practical use of AI in its development teams and is looking for an AI Adoption Specialist who can lead the work through training, workshops and close coaching. The focus is on helping teams use AI in their everyday work, not on project management or AI architecture.
Your responsibilities
Independently plan and deliver several practical workshops each week, with content based on the teams’ needs and day-to-day tasks
Train teams in generative AI, GitHub Copilot, prompting, AI agents, and AI support for development and testing
Coach development teams so that knowledge becomes concrete, effective ways of working
Identify needs, obstacles and opportunities within the teams
Develop and share training materials and exercises
Document and hand over materials, exercises and ways of working to internal AI ambassadors and trainers

Technical environment
GitHub Copilot, VS Code, Visual Studio, React, MUI, .NET 10, Java and SQL Server
Requirements
Practical expertise in generative AI and AI support for software development
Practical experience with GitHub Copilot, including prompting, context, instructions and AI-assisted development workflows
Ability to independently plan and lead practical training and coached workshops for development teams
Ability to adapt formats and exercises to different roles, levels of knowledge and tasks
Experience translating teams’ needs into concrete training and coaching initiatives
Good understanding of the limitations of AI tools, safe use and the importance of human review

Desirable
Experience from a regulated business, such as banking or insurance
Practical expertise in AI agents and automated workflows
Knowledge of AI support for test design, test automation and quality assurance
Experience from large organisations with several development teams and SAFe trains
Experience with internal AI ambassador networks or similar approaches to sharing knowledge
