Project and Design Manager

Would you like to combine project management, technical design and customer-focused problem-solving in a role where you can be involved from the initial idea through to the completed installation? Dustcontrol is now looking for a Project Design Manager for our industrial sales department.
About the role
As a Project Design Manager, you will be responsible for planning, leading, coordinating and following up on our installation projects. You will manage projects from the kick-off meeting through to final delivery, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, clear communication and high customer value throughout the process.
The role also includes design, technical support and preparing quotations. You will therefore be an important link between customers, sales, engineering and project delivery, both in delivering sold projects and in providing technical support ahead of new business.
Examples of duties
Plan, lead and coordinate installation projects from start to handover.
Prepare and follow up on schedules, budgets and project administration.
Coordinate contacts with customers, internal departments, suppliers and contractors.
Carry out or contribute to technical design and the development of proposed solutions.
Provide technical support to the sales organisation and other colleagues.
Prepare supporting documentation and contribute to writing quotations.
Ensure compliance with contracts, laws, standards and quality, environmental and safety requirements.
Contribute to the development of work processes, project methodology and a positive working environment.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with experience in project management in a technical environment who enjoys a role combining organisation, business understanding and technical problem-solving. You are likely to have a Master of Science in Engineering or an equivalent technical background, as well as experience working with 3D CAD.
Knowledge of construction law, contract matters and negotiations is an advantage, as is experience with relevant systems such as MS Office, project management tools, and CRM or ERP systems. You communicate very well in spoken and written Swedish and English, hold a category B driving licence (B-körkort) and are able to travel when required.

The group has subsidiaries and distributors worldwide, as well as its head office, design, production and warehouse in Sweden.

In Sweden, our project organisation mainly works with its own installers on new installations, modifications and extensions of extraction systems. This means that the same technicians who install the systems can often also carry out servicing through our own service organisation.
