Relief Dog Walker with Experience of Handling Several Leads

🐾 We are looking for a confident, dog-savvy walking companion to join our team! 🐾
Do you love dogs, fresh air and varied working days? Can you read dogs’ body language and help them feel safe in a group? Are you available to work during the day on weekdays? Then you could be the person we’re looking for!
About the role:
We are looking for a responsible dog lover who can walk 5-6 dogs as a group and is initially available to step in when needed. The dogs have different personalities and sometimes “speak” different dialects, which is why it is important that you have a keen eye for canine communication and can act as a mediator before conflicts arise. The work covers both our mobile dog daycare service (dog walking).
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience handling several dogs at the same time, preferably in an urban setting
Is out come rain or shine, and loves nature whatever the weather
Understands dogs’ signals and takes a preventative approach to creating balance in the group
Can work Monday to Friday, with varied hours during the day
Has good local knowledge and can easily find their way to different addresses
Is sensitive to clients’ privacy and respectful in their homes

We offer:
Meaningful work where you can keep active, spend time outdoors and help dogs thrive
A lovely team that loves dogs and respects their different needs
Training and professional development for staff during paid working hours
The opportunity for long-term employment with a growing company (the right person can be offered a permanent position at 50-65% from 1/12-2026; someone qualified in dog grooming may also have the opportunity to carry out work at our premises on Kungsholmen on set days each month)
