MAX Hallunda is looking for a restaurant assistant for evenings and weekends

We want to become the world’s best burger chain, and we know that the way to get there is through committed employees, strong teams, great service and really good burgers. Now we are looking for you to help create world-class service experiences with every visit.
As a restaurant assistant at MAX, you are a key person in our daily work. Together with your colleagues, you make sure our guests receive the best possible welcome and that the restaurant always delivers at the highest level, in terms of quality, pace and service. You work in a team and have a range of duties: serving guests, keeping the restaurant clean and tidy, working in the kitchen to prepare burgers and fries, and running the till, making sure guests receive the items they ordered. At MAX, enjoyment at work, a sense of community and development are always at the centre. During your first few days, your restaurant manager or an experienced colleague will teach you the job step by step, as will our learning platform, MAX Academy, through digital training.
Main duties
Serve guests, give them a friendly welcome and create world-class service experiences
Keep the restaurant clean and tidy
Prepare burgers, smoothies and fries in the kitchen
Run the till and make sure guests receive the items they ordered
Work as part of a team and support your colleagues

What does the process involve?
For our restaurant team member roles, we have chosen a simpler and more relevant way to apply for a job. This means you do not need to submit a CV or cover letter. Instead, you will answer a few selection questions and complete a Service Test. We recommend that you answer the questions as fully and honestly as you can.
Once you have submitted your application, you will receive an email with a link to the Service Test. The test consists of various situations that may arise in everyday work at MAX, and you will describe how you would act. This gives you a good idea of what it is like to work with us at an early stage. The test takes about 15 minutes to complete.
Once we have reviewed both your application and your test, we will get back to you as soon as we can. If you progress to the next stage, you will be invited to an interview. If you do not progress, you will be notified by email. We review applications on an ongoing basis, which means the position may be filled before the application deadline.
Please note that the Service Test is a compulsory part of our recruitment process, and we therefore cannot take candidates forward if they do not complete it.
