The 32-year-old New York Rangers forward has not played in the Avicii arena, previously the Globe, since the renovation last year and the reopening in Stockholm in February this year.

After Thursday's training session before Friday evening's World Championship premiere against Slovakia, he defined it as different. Not least considering the chairs that are now black and not red. It makes it harder to see the black puck, he thinks.

I think it's a bit different when you send the puck up into the glass (boards) so you don't see much. The puck disappears because of the black chairs. The puck disappears when it comes up, says Mika Zibanejad.

He hopes the feeling for the new Globe will be better tonight. There are still tickets for sale, but Zibanejad believes it will be sold out.

It's nice that it's sold out so you don't have to look at those black chairs. It's a bit different.

The face-off in Sweden-Slovakia is at 20.20.
